April 20, 2006 I will be giving a presentation on Flash Animation during the annual Truman Student Research Conference. The time and location are yet to be decided, though based off last year's conference it'll probably be in the morning and in Ophelia Parish.
More information is available at the SRC Website.
Here's the abstract of my presentation:
Macromedia Flash is one of the most widely distributed pieces of
Internet software, noted for its ability to present smooth motion
graphics within a web browser. Although Flash has developed over time
for many uses: interactive presentations, sound manipulation, and
complete websites, it's first and most important ability is animation.
Building on previous academic and freelance work, Nathan Haug presents
his Flash projects created during a semester-long independent study.
For interested novices and Flash aficionados, Nathan presents his
progression in web animation utilizing basic motion tweans, interactive
elements, and 3D modeling (with supplemental software application Swift
3D by Electric Rain).
